Position: CNA Instructor (Part-Time)

Umbrella Academy Unlimited is seeking a knowledgeable, dependable, and enthusiastic RN or LPN to join our team as a Part-Time CNA Instructor. The ideal candidate is passionate about educating future nursing assistants and preparing students for success in both the classroom and clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Ohio CNA curriculum in accordance with state guidelines.
  • Deliver classroom instruction, skills lab demonstrations, and clinical supervision.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain attendance, grades, and required student documentation.
  • Prepare lesson plans, quizzes, and skills evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with Ohio Department of Health regulations.
  • Create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience (long-term care experience preferred).
  • Previous teaching or staff development experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Passion for mentoring and developing future healthcare professionals.

Schedule:

  • Part-Time
  • Evening classes and occasional clinical weekends (based on class schedule).


 

DODD Medication Administration Instructor (Part-Time)

Position: DODD Medication Administration Instructor/Trainer (Part-Time)

Umbrella Academy Unlimited is looking for an experienced RN Trainer to teach Ohio DODD Medication Administration Certification Courses (Categories 1, 2, and 3). This position is ideal for a nurse who enjoys teaching and helping direct support professionals develop safe medication administration skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach DODD Medication Administration courses following Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities standards.
  • Provide classroom instruction, demonstrations, and hands-on skills training.
  • Administer written exams and skills competency evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate student records and course documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all DODD training requirements.
  • Foster a professional and engaging learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Must meet Ohio DODD Trainer requirements and be eligible to teach Medication Administration courses.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Excellent communication, teaching, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and educate adult learners.
