Kinderdance Austin is entering into its 24th season and we are looking for passionate, reliable and fun instructors to join our team!  We are a mobile company, so there is driving involved.  We have classes all over the Austin area, so we only assign you classes within a radius you are comfortable with.  

Qualifications include:

-Dance training - we need you to know the basics of ballet and tap

-Experience working with young children - average age we teach is 2-6 year olds

-Reliable transportation - you need to have a way to get to teaching locations

-Experience teaching young children is a plus! 

-Ability to commit to weekly schedule through the dance year - we know that emergencies come up but children get attached to their instructor, so we want to avoided having to change a teacher mid-season.

-Strong work ethic required - you are the face of the Kinderdance brand

-Ability to manage a classroom and behavior of young children - we need someone who can captivate a group of children and redirect without raising their voice.

We offer paid training - Fall classes begin on August 31st

Dance year runs August 31, 2026 - May 21, 2027

Compensation range is $22-$25 per teaching hour to start and dependent upon experience.
