Job Summary: The Data Processing Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, reviewing, and updating data in company databases and information systems.
Key Responsibilities
Enter, update, and maintain accurate records in company databases and software systems.
Verify data for completeness and accuracy before processing.
Review documents for errors and make corrections as needed.
Process electronic and paper-based forms, applications, invoices, or other business documents.
Organize, scan, and electronically file records according to company procedures.
Generate reports and assist with data retrieval when requested.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer and company information.
Collaborate with team members to resolve data discrepancies.
Meet productivity and accuracy goals while following established procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous data entry or administrative experience is preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
Basic knowledge of databases and data management systems.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
