The Human Resources Intern will provide support to the various priority initiatives of the Human Resources Department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist Human Resources Assistant with the on-boarding process. Provide administrative support including the assembly of new hire orientation packages; filing and maintenance of personnel folders; auditing files for Joint Commission readiness and other regulatory purposes. Other duties/projects as assigned. 

Requirements

HS diploma or GED. Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate school program, with an interest in Human Resources. 

Office experience including creating documents using various software programs required. 
Telephone experience including conducting surveys desired.

Proficient use of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). 
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organization skills and attention to detail. 

Ability to carry out assigned projects to completion. 

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. 

Must be a self-starter, able to work independently. 

Ability to multi-task, manage confidential information and pay attention to detail within strict deadlines. 

Enrollment in HR degree program is preferred.
