Job Overview
Are you passionate about inspiring young minds, encouraging active lifestyles, and having fun?! We are seeking energetic Ninja and/or Gymnastics Coaches to lead engaging sports activities for children of various ages. Whether you have experience in martial arts, gymnastics, or other sports—or you’re brand new but eager to learn—we’ll provide the training you'll need to succeed in our supportive and fun environment. In this role, you’ll lead safe, high-energy ninja and/or gymnastics classes always with a smile and a supportive spirit. With positivity and structure, you’ll help kids develop confidence, coordination, strength, and teamwork, while inspiring them to discover the joy of movement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Instruct weekly ninja and/or gymnastics classes for preschool, beginner, and intermediate-level athletes.
  • High-energy and engaging coaching style
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Dependability and consistency in attendance and performance
  • Patience, positivity, and ability to work with children of various ages and backgrounds
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet different learning styles and physical abilities
  • Follow class plans, skill progressions, and safety protocols provided by the gym's leadership team.
  • Provide age-appropriate instruction that challenges athletes while encouraging progress and fun.
  • Offer verbal and physical spotting and corrections to ensure skill development and safety.
  • Positively engage with parents before and after classes to provide feedback and build community.
  • Maintain a clean and organized training space and assist in setting up/taking down equipment as needed.
  • Monitor athletes closely and respond promptly to injuries or safety concerns, following gym protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children in instructional, athletic, or recreational settings. (Preferred but not required)
  • Background in sports, or another movement-based discipline (preferred)
  • Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm, patience, and excellent communication skills to engage young participants effectively.
  • Mandatory PA child abuse clearances.
