Interested in Becoming a Canine Care Specialist?
This is an active, hands-on full time position where you’ll be part of what makes each dog’s day great. You’ll help supervise play, manage feeding, keep the facility clean and safe, and connect with owners at drop-off and pickup. Every day looks a little different, and there’s real satisfaction in the work.You’ll be on your feet and outdoors a good portion of the day, Pacific Northwest weather and all, so a love of fresh air and staying active is a plus.  Pay starts at $19.00/hr.

What You’ll Do

  • Shower each pup affection
  • Supervise and engage dogs throughout their stay and during play sessions
  • Monitor the group and step in calmly when dogs need redirecting
  • Feed dogs according to their individual care plans
  • Keep the facility clean, safe, and welcoming throughout your shift
  • Greet owners warmly at drop-off and pickup
  • Pitch in wherever the team needs you

We value attitude and dependability over experience. If you’re the kind of person who shows up, cares about doing things right, and genuinely likes being around do.gs, you’d fit right in here. Professional animal care experience is a plus but not required

Since 1996, Dogs-A-Jammin’ has been one of the Pacific Northwest’s most trusted dog daycare and boarding facilities seven acres on the Redmond/Woodinville border, where dogs are genuinely cared for, and not just supervised. We’re a small, close-knit team and we take real pride in what we do.

Physical Requirements

  • Comfortable being on your feet and active throughout your shift
  • At ease outdoors
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs., when needed
  • Able to bend, reach, and kneel as part of the normal work day

Experience and Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older for this position
  • Do you have any animal care experience or professional animal care experience?
  • Can you reliably commute to Woodinville?
  • What is your highest level of schooling?
  • Do you have the following skills:  good communication, dependability, pet comforting, attention to detail, and likes to work as part of team?
