Through our partnerships with Certifix and Fieldprint, we help individuals, employers, and regulated industries navigate workforce screening, licensing, employment, and identity verification requirements with confidence.
Michaels Biometric Services is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Compliance Services Associate to support our growing biometric and identity verification operations in partnership with leading national providers including Certifix and Fieldprint.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, values accuracy and confidentiality, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. The Compliance Services Associate will assist clients with fingerprinting, identity verification, employment eligibility support, and other compliance-related services associated with workforce screening, licensing, immigration, and onboarding requirements.

What You'll Do
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing Michaels Biometric Services and its partner organizations
- Capture fingerprints using live scan and print-to-card systems
- Prepare and process FD-258 fingerprint cards and related documentation
- Assist clients with identity verification and compliance intake procedures
- Verify identification documents and maintain accurate client records
- Support appointment check-in, scheduling, and customer service operations
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, privacy standards, and partner requirements
- Maintain organized digital and physical records with a high level of confidentiality
- Assist with employment verification, background screening support, and related compliance services
- Provide professional support to walk-in clients, employers, and community partners
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and client-ready office environment
- Support mobile or off-site fingerprinting events as needed
- Process client payments and maintain accurate transaction records
- Monitor appointment schedules and assist in managing daily client flow
- Perform related administrative and operational office duties as needed
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable interacting with diverse populations and handling sensitive information
- Tech-savvy and able to learn biometric software and scheduling systems quickly
- Able to work independently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
- Customer-service focused with strong communication skills
- Comfortable working in a compliance-driven environment
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to maintaining scheduled work hours and client appointments
- Previous experience in customer service, healthcare, compliance, HR, security, administration, or office operations strongly preferred
- Experience working with confidential records, identity verification processes, or regulated environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with biometric systems, onboarding processes, or workforce compliance services is a plus
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates highly preferred
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally within the NYC area for mobile fingerprinting events is a plus
- Successful candidates will be subject to a background screening and reference verification process
Work Environment
- Professional office environment
- Expected schedule is approximately 15–25 hours per week, including weekday and Saturday availability
- Some evening hours (up to 5:30 PM) may occasionally be required based on business needs
- Position involves standing and sitting for extended periods and repetitive hand movement during fingerprint processing
- Business casual attire required. Company-branded apparel may be provided for community events and mobile appointments

Compensation
- Part-Time: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience
