Job description:

Think You Have What It Takes?

We're looking for someone who not only loves dogs but can safely manage them, clean up after them, advocate for them, and provide exceptional care every day.

At Country Pup Kennel, you'll spend your days surrounded by wagging tails, happy faces, puppy kisses, zoomies, and plenty of laughter. But let's be honest—you'll also be cleaning kennels, picking up poop, working in all weather conditions, and staying on your feet.

If you're looking for a job that's rewarding, active, and never boring, keep reading!

A Typical Day Might Include:

  • Supervising dog playgroups
  • Playing fetch (sometimes for the 500th time)
  • Monitoring dog behavior and ensuring safe interactions
  • Feeding meals and administering medications
  • Cleaning kennels, yards, and play areas
  • Providing lots of love and attention
  • Helping dogs feel safe and comfortable while away from home
  • Communicating with clients about their pets
  • Working with an amazing team that truly cares about animals

Let's Be Real...

This job is fun, but it is also serious.

You are responsible for the safety and well-being of someone's family member.

That means:

✔ Staying off your phone

✔ Paying attention to dog behavior

✔ Following instructions and protocols

✔ Showing up on time

✔ Being reliable

✔ Working as a team

✔ Taking pride in your work

Some days you'll get covered in fur. Some days you'll get wet. Some days you'll spend hours outside. Every day you'll make a difference.

We Might Be a Great Fit If You:

  • Are 20 years of age or older
  • Love being active and staying busy
  • Enjoy working outdoors
  • Can lift up to 50 pounds
  • Have experience with dogs or animal care (preferred but not required)
  • Have a positive attitude
  • Take feedback well and want to learn
  • Understand that safety always comes first

Can handle both the fun and the hard work that comes with caring for animals

Schedule Expectations

We are a 7-day-a-week facility that operates every day of the year.

This means applicants must be available for:

  • Day Shifts
  • Afternoon/Evening Shifts
  • Weekends
  • Holidays

Our busiest times are holidays and summer months, and we need team members who can be counted on when it matters most.

Before You Apply...

If you think this job is just petting puppies all day, it probably isn't for you.

If you want to work hard, learn, grow, and spend your days making dogs' lives better, we'd love to meet you.
