Position Title: Infant/Toddler Teacher

Position Summary
St. Louis ECDC is seeking dedicated Infant/Toddler Teachers to provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment and curriculum for young children. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, works well in a team setting, and supports the daily care, supervision, and learning of infants and toddlers.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide attentive supervision and care for infants and toddlers throughout the day.
• Support children’s emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Assist with feeding, diapering, nap routines, and daily care needs.
• Communicate professionally with families and coworkers regarding children’s daily progress and needs.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow center policies and procedures.
• Participate in classroom setup, cleanup, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• 6 months to 1 year of experience working in a childcare environment.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Experience working with infants and toddlers preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a caring, dependable attitude.
• Ability to work cooperatively with children, families, and staff.
Work Schedule
Positions are available for both part-time and full-time schedules. Specific hours may vary based on program needs and staffing requirements.
