Looking for an experienced litigation paralegal who is self-motivated, intelligent, team-oriented, goal driven, and is detail oriented. 

The ideal candidate would undertake the following:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Draft correspondence to potential targets, attorneys, courts, third parties, etc.
  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of state and federal rules of civil procedure and ensure compliance with individual court standing orders and local rules
  • Draft, edit, and e-file pleadings (State and Federal Court)
  • Docketing daily trial schedules and deadlines
  • Prepare initial drafts of discovery to propound and discovery responses (State and Federal Court)
  • Manual and electronic document reviews
  • Prepare hearing, deposition, mediation and trial notebooks and exhibits
  • Maintain attorney calendars
  • Schedule mediations, depositions, court reporters/videographer, conference calls, etc.
  • E-filing in multi-state and federal court jurisdictions

Experience & Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five (5) years litigation/trial experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel) required
  • Proficient in ECF and Texas E-filing system
  • Positive attitude, great interpersonal skills, committed to their work and pro-active
