AT D&N Automotive Group, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our growing service team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, diagnostic expertise, and a commitment to providing top-notch vehicle maintenance and repairs. You will ensure customer vehicles operate safely and efficiently while maintaining high shop standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnostics: Inspect and test vehicles using computerized diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, fluid flushes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Repairs: Repair or replace defective parts, including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, and HVAC systems.
  • Communication: Coordinate with Service Advisor regarding diagnostic findings and necessary repairs and parts.
  • Quality Control: Conduct test drives after repairs are completed to confirm functionality and safety.
  • Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace and strictly adhere to federal, state, and OSHA hazardous waste regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or GED; completion of an automotive service technology program preferred but not required.
  • Experience: Proven hands-on experience in automotive repair and diagnostics.
  • Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. (Pennsylvania State Inspection and Emissions licenses if possible).
  • Physical: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy equipment, and work in various physical positions. 

Starting Salary: $44,000-$55,000
