The Ha Collective Hybrid- Remote / Los Angeles, CA

About The Ha Collective

The Ha Collective is a community initiative dedicated to advancing equity and sustainability in the global fashion labor industry. Founded by Rain Hashimoto and Noelle Harmon, who met at FIDM in Los Angeles, we combine storytelling and media to support garment workers, small fashion designers, and textile artisans.

We are an all-women team looking for a creative, driven, and inspired intern to help us amplify underrepresented voices and direct resources toward ethical labor support.

The Role

We are seeking a driven and technically skilled Social Media & Content Marketing Intern to support our digital storytelling efforts. This role is designed for a creator who understands that high-impact media is a tool for systemic change. You will work directly with the founders to translate our mission into professional, compelling content for Instagram and TikTok, ensuring our message reaches a global audience with clarity and aesthetic precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Video Editing: Cutting and producing high-retention Reels and TikToks from raw footage (interviews, behind-the-scenes, and educational content).
  • Platform Management: Uploading content, writing punchy captions, and managing the posting schedule.
  • Trend Analysis: Identifying trending audios and formats and pivoting them to fit the sustainability and labor rights space.
  • Community Engagement: Interacting with our followers to build a loyal, informed community.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with video editing apps (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar) is a must.
  • Social Media Native: You have a deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram trends, algorithms, and aesthetics.
  • Aesthetic Eye: Ability to maintain a visual brand that is elevated, modern, and meaningful.
  • Storytelling Skills: An interest in fashion, sustainability, and social justice.
  • Communication: Strong writing skills for captions and community interaction.
Internship Benefits
  • College Credit: We will provide all necessary documentation for academic credit.
  • Portfolio Building: You will leave with a portfolio of professional, mission-driven content.
  • Mentorship: Direct 1-on-1 collaboration with founders in the heart of the LA fashion scene.
  • Networking: Great opportunity to meet and learn from others in the fashion industry.
  • Letter of Recommendation: A formal recommendation letter and resume-building experience upon successful completion.
