Temporary Summer Housekeeper/ Maintenance
Rosedale Seniors’ Living requires a Temporary Summer Housekeeper/ Maintenance employee for the summer to assist with cleaning parkade, carpet cleaning, cleaning windows and screens, clean balconies, cleaning of common areas, landscaping, assist in yearly scheduled housekeeping/maintenance tasks, and any other task assigned as required. Position is Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., starts May 18, 2026 and ends August 31, 2026.
Adherence to infection, prevention and control protocols is required.
Understand and follow WHMIS and handle cleaning products appropriately and wear appropriate PPE. Must follow Rosedale P&Ps and OH&S legislation ensuring safe work practices. Communicate respectfully and courteously with residents and families. Training will be provided.
Contribute to and participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives
Attend in-services and education as required
Qualifications:
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Physically fit with the ability to handle the physical demands of the position such as push, pull, and lift a minimum of 25–50 lbs; walk / stand for prolonged periods.
Ability to complete housekeeping/ maintenance tasks within specific timelines.
Communicate well verbally and in writing; demonstrate a positive attitude with good customer service skills.
Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector will be required prior to starting.
