Overview
Join our aquatic team as a Lifeguard and be a guardian of safety and enjoyment at our swimming facility. In this role, you will oversee pool activities, ensure a safe environment for all patrons and their guests, and provide exceptional guest services. Your proactive presence will help create a fun, secure, and welcoming atmosphere where everyone can swim with confidence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in water safety and guest interaction.

Duties

• Monitor pool areas continuously to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents or emergencies
• Respond swiftly and effectively to all water-related incidents using first aid and CPR techniques
• Conduct routine pool maintenance including cleaning and Lifeguard equipment inspections to ensure optimal water quality and safety standards
• Assist guests with pool access, provide information about pool rules, and deliver excellent guest services to enhance their experience

Qualifications

• Provide 1-3 character references.
• Ability to swim confidently and perform water rescues when necessary
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, perform water rescues, and stand or walk for extended periods
• Strong guest service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed
• Open to the possibility of assisting patrons with swimming skills.

Red Cross Certification in Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid is provided. Employment is contingent on passing the certification exams.
