We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Co-Head of Coaching to lead and inspire our coaching team across diverse sports and physical activities. This pivotal role combines strategic leadership with hands-on coaching, fostering an engaging environment where participants of all ages can develop their skills, confidence, and love for movement. As Co-Head of Coaching, you will collaborate closely with other leaders to design innovative programs, uphold high standards of safety and behavior management, and ensure every participant receives exceptional guidance. The Role (Shared Between Two Coaches)
* Together, the Co-Head Coaches will: Oversee daily recreational gymnastics programming
* Assist, as needed, the Club Team Head Coaches with Club Team program
* Assist with recruiting and vetting recreational coaching staff
* Lead, mentor, and support coaching staff
* Fill in for coaching staff as needed
* Plan and conduct staff trainings and evaluations
* Ensure safe, positive, and structured class environments
* Assist with curriculum development and skill progression
* Support athlete development and team readiness
* Communicate with families alongside administrative team
* Collaborate with the Board on program growth and improvements

How the Shared Role Works:
*Responsibilities are collaboratively divided based on strengths, availability, and interests
* Regular communication between Co-Head Coaches is expected
* Scheduling is flexible and designed to complement both coaches
* Coverage and support for each other is key to success 

Qualifications:
* Prior coaching experience (required)
* Knowledge of gymnastics (required)
      Understanding of basic body positions, terminology, and safety/spotting
* Former gymnastics participation (helpful)
* Gymnastics coaching experience (preferred)
* 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (required)
* Strong communication and organizational skills 
* Passion for youth development and positive coaching
* Ability to work collaboratively and problem-solve as a team 
* Flexible availability based on session; daytime, afternoon, or evening classes as well as occasional weekend events

Compensation & Perks: 
* Salary: $15,600 - $22,880 (calculated on an average of 20 hours per week). 
    Hourly equivalent: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
