Demo Specialists are responsible for many different tasks. They may be asked to disassemble a steel stud and GWB (drywall) wall, pull up carpeting, jack hammer out cinder blocks or concrete, or just spray water on a saw while a tech performs a cut.
90% of the job is clean-up. Sorting materials, removing debris from the site, and correctly loading dumpsters are all key to success. EVERYONE ON SITE HELPS WITH CLEAN UP.
Advancement is a possibility and encouraged. We are looking for people who want to learn and will show value through hard work. We ask for three main things when starting: Show up everyday and on time, listen to your foreman and be safe!

Regular hours: 7am-3:30pm. 30 minutes for lunch.

Required tools: hammer, sawzall, 2' & 4' pry bars, cordless screw gun
PPE (Diplomat provides gloves, eyewear and hardhat): steel toe boots, & long pants
Required experience: None
Preferred experience: general construction, masonry, carpentry
Equipment operation: skid steer, excavator, forklift, aerial lifts
Required certs: (can be done online within first month of hire): OSHA 10 - paid by company
Preferred certs: OSHA 30

Job Type: Full-time  Salary $18-$24 depending on experience
