The Danville Dans, a member of the summer baseball collegiate Prospect League, is seeking motivated college students interns to join the front office for a summer of real-world sports experience.
The internship runs from May 24 through Aug. 10, covering the team’s full home schedule of 28 games at Danville Stadium. Danterns work alongside front office staff in all facets of operations, building a professional portfolio in areas including marketing, sales, sports management, journalism and fan engagement — all while earning college credit through their academic institution.
The program is designed for students pursuing academic credit, with the Dans encouraging all Danterns to be directly supervised by a professor or academic advisor from an accredited university, college or vocational institution. A stipend may be available for qualifying participants.
The Danterns program has a strong track record of launching careers in professional sports and athletics. Alumni have gone on to positions with the Colorado Rockies, the South Bend Cubs, DraftKings and Division I universities, among others.
