Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Early Childhood Educator to join our team! In this vital role, you will create a nurturing environment that promotes childhood development through engaging lessons and personalized care. Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that support early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods
  • Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking among preschoolers and toddlers
  • Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children of diverse backgrounds and needs
  • Support children’s social-emotional development through behavior management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies
  • Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and promote child welfare initiatives
  • Assist with classroom organization, routine management, and maintaining compliance with licensing regulations
  • Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention practices to support children with unique learning needs

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
  • Experience in curriculum development tailored for preschoolers and toddlers
  • Proficiency in classroom management and behavior management techniques
  • Ability to work effectively with children of varying abilities, including those requiring special education or early intervention support
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and literacy education methods
  • Hands-on experience in daycare or private school settings; Montessori background is a plus
  • Knowledge of teaching physical education activities that promote motor skills development
