Minimum Qualifications: 

•  18+ years old -
• High school graduate or GED 
•  Comfort working outdoors in all kinds of weather

 Additional Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in education
• Minimum of 12 months working with preschool aged children (outdoor setting a plus) 
• Willingness to be flexible and work collaboratively on a team 
• Professional communication skills 
• Knowledge of the social emotional and developmental needs of preschool aged children 
• Familiarity with child-led learning, emergent curriculum, and/or nature-based learning 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Supporting group management during outdoor play, hikes, and lunch -
• Assisting with the implementation of summer camp activities -
• Attending to the needs of preschool aged (Kinglets) or elementary aged (Coyotes) children in an empathetic and developmentally appropriate way
• Organizing and cleaning indoor/outdoor spaces and bathroom each day

 Position Details:

• This is a 9 week position (June 15 - August 14) 
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-2pm (Kinglets) or 8:30-2:30pm (Coyotes) 
• Hourly compensation commensurate with experience

 Prior to commencing employment the candidate must pass a criminal background and fingerprint check.
