ST Paul UMC   Pianist Job Description

St. Paul United Methodist Church is looking for an experienced pianist to play during church services, accompany the choir, and attending choir practices (presently being held on Sunday mornings prior to worship).  

The pianist is required to play at regular church services for 9 months of the year, which includes any special services, i.e.; Christmas and Easter (Holy Week).  There is a potential of playing at weddings and/or funerals, with payment for these services coming from the families. 

Church services for the remaining 3 months are held outdoors, and arrangements are occasionally made for guest pianists.  Should you be asked to play for an outdoor service, you will be compensated separately at $75.00 per Sunday.  

Compensation:  $4,545.00 / year

Church service time: 9:30 a.m.
