Role Description

This is a full-time/part-time, on-site role for a Medical Assistant at our Manhattan Chinatown office location at 128 Mott St. The Medical Assistant must be fluent in Cantonese and will be responsible for assisting with patient care, checking patient's medical history, and health insurance information. Additional responsibilities include preparing patients for exams, updating patient histories, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Cantonese (speaking) is a must
• Familiarity in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, and Google Sheets
• A willingness to learn checking patient's health insurance, taking patient's medical history, and perform various eye testings
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Previous experience in eye care or healthcare is a plus but not necessary
