Job description:

ABOUT FEMINOCENTRIC PT & WELLNESS

FeminoCentric Physical Therapy & Wellness is a Pasadena-based specialty clinic dedicated entirely to pelvic health. We serve individuals across all stages of life, including pregnancy, postpartum recovery, perimenopause, pelvic pain, and complex pelvic floor presentations.

Our practice is intentionally structured around quality over volume. As a cash-based clinic, we are free from productivity pressures and insurance-driven constraints, which allows our clinicians to invest fully in each patient and practice at the highest level of their training.

We believe great care begins with a great team. Our environment is collaborative, growth-oriented, and genuinely supportive of the clinicians who are part of it.

WHAT SETS THIS ROLE APART

  • Exclusively pelvic health caseload from day one
  • One-on-one, 60-minute sessions with no double-booking
  • Maximum of 6–7 patients per day to protect clinical quality
  • Clinical reasoning is valued over throughput
  • Autonomy within a collaborative, mentorship-rich environment
  • Genuine investment in your growth as a specialist

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently accepting applications for both full-time and part-time positions. Whether you are looking for a full clinical schedule or a part-time role that fits your life, both options offer the same quality-focused environment, pelvic health caseload, and team support. The successful candidate will contribute to a culture of clinical excellence and have the opportunity to grow as a specialist within our practice.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver individualized, one-on-one pelvic health physical therapy sessions
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including internal pelvic floor assessment when clinically appropriate and with patient consent
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans addressing movement, strength, coordination, and lifestyle factors
  • Provide patient education to support long-term self-management and independence
  • Complete thorough, timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support patient outcomes and team development
  • Maintain professional communication with patients, referral partners, and team members
  • Participate in community education and outreach initiatives as interest allows

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate brings a genuine passion for pelvic health, a commitment to ongoing learning, and the kind of interpersonal warmth that helps patients feel truly seen and supported.

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Are drawn to pelvic health as a primary clinical specialty
  • Are committed to continuing education and clinical growth
  • Are comfortable with, or motivated to develop skill in, internal pelvic floor assessment
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and colleagues
  • Thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Are organized, self-directed, and consistent

This role is likely not the right fit if you:

  • Prefer high-volume, fast-paced clinical environments
  • Are seeking a general outpatient or mixed caseload
  • Prefer to work in isolation with limited team interaction
  • Are not interested in working primarily with pelvic health conditions

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the State of California (required)
  • New graduates are welcome — a strong commitment to pelvic health specialty is the priority
  • Background in orthopedics and/or pelvic floor physical therapy (preferred)
  • Completion of pelvic health coursework through Herman & Wallace, APTA, or equivalent (preferred)

HOW TO APPLY

We would love to hear from you. Please submit your resume along with a brief note sharing your interest in pelvic health and what draws you to this opportunity. We review applications on a rolling basis and will be in touch with candidates whose background and goals align with our team.
