Job Summary

We are a modern, patient-focused dental practice in Rancho Santa Margarita looking for a creative, reliable, and ambitious Photography Intern who wants to grow with us. This is not just an internship — it is a deliberate stepping-stone role. The right candidate will start by owning all photography for our dental services and clinic spaces and, through demonstrated skill and initiative, will transition into our full-time Marketing Manager position as we expand our digital presence.

What You’ll Do as Photography Intern

• Photograph dental procedures, before-and-after cases (with patient consent), smile makeovers, and treatment results in a clean, professional, and welcoming style.
• Capture high-quality images of our clinic interior, operatories, equipment, team, and patient areas for website, social media, Google Business, and marketing materials.
• Edit and organize photos using Lightroom/Photoshop (or similar) and maintain an up-to-date digital asset library.
• Assist with basic content creation: Instagram Reels, Facebook/Instagram posts, Google reviews, and website galleries.
• Help coordinate photo shoots with our clinical team and patients.

Growth Path to Marketing Manager

The intern who excels will step into the Marketing Manager role and take ownership of:

• Full social-media strategy and content calendar
• Google Business, SEO, and review management
• Email marketing campaigns
• Website updates and blog content
• Branding and promotional material design

Requirements

• Passion for photography and a strong visual eye (portfolio or sample work required).
• Basic knowledge of photo editing software (Lightroom, Photoshop, or Canva).
• Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site in Rancho Santa Margarita.
• Professional demeanor and comfort working in a clinical dental environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Self-starter who is eager to learn marketing and take on increasing responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred (but not required)

• Pursuing or recent graduate in Photography, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Experience with social media content creation or dental/medical photography.
