Position: Caregiver / Home Health Aide
Location: Cleveland, Ohio & surrounding areas
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / PRN


 

Position Summary

CCD Homecare Services is seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced caregivers to provide high-quality, client-centered care to seniors and individuals with chronic conditions. Our caregivers support clients in maintaining independence, dignity, and safety in the comfort of their own homes.


 

Key Responsibilities

Personal Care (ADLs):

  • Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Provide mobility assistance and fall prevention support
  • Support with feeding when necessary

Companion & Support Care:

  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with daily routines and engagement activities

Instrumental Activities (IADLs):

  • Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying)
  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Medication reminders (no administering unless certified)
  • Grocery shopping and errands

Specialty Care Support:

  • Assist clients with conditions such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, stroke recovery, Parkinson’s, dialysis, chemotherapy, and end-of-life care
  • Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisor


 

Qualifications

  • Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred (1+ years)
  • Experience with dementia care strongly preferred
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
