We are looking for a passionate and reliable sewing instructor to join our growing creative community!
This is a perfect opportunity for someone who:
Loves working with both children and adults
Can teach beginner to intermediate sewing skills
Enjoys a fun, uplifting, and creative environment
Is dependable, on time, and takes pride in their work

What you’ll do:
Teach private sewing classes and small group sewing classes for ages 6 and up.
Guide students through hands on projects
Help build confidence and creativity in every student
Maintain and update pattern library

Experience:
3 + years experience necessary
Must know how to read patterns for example, McCalls, Butterick, Vogue as well as Etsy Patterns and relay instructions to student
Be able to work with 4 or more students at a time
Be able to communicate clearly/effectively with students to help them with their projects
Have great time management skills
Be able to work with students and identify where their skill level is to be able to have them spend time efficiently and learn quickly
Have the ability to guide and teach students without hovering and inspire them to do their best.
Have a strong ability to work independently
Be creative, imaginative and inspiring, ability to come up with fun projects spontaneously
