Elevation Station Children’s Academy is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher for our Quality Rated Center. The ideal Candidate will implement developmentally appropriate curriculum  (Creative Curriculum), maintain Georgia Bright from the Start (DECAL) licensing standards, and ensure a safe, nurturing environment for children (roughly 12–36 months). Key roles include classroom management, staff supervision, and partnership with families. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Curriculum & Planning: Create weekly lesson plans focusing on social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development (including sensory play, motor skills). 
   
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to Georgia's "Bright from the Start" regulations and Quality Rated guidelines, including active supervision. 
   
• Assessment: Conduct ongoing child observations and developmental screenings to track milestones. 
   
• Leadership: Super Mtor Assistant Teachers and manage daily classroom operations. 
   
• Family Engagement: Maintain professional, regular communication with parents regarding daily activities and developmental progress. 

Key Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: A CDA (Child Development Associate), TCC (Technical Certificate of Credit), or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) is typically required, especially for higher quality ratings.
• Experience: Previous experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and a passion for early childhood development.
• Certification: CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• Physical: Ability to lift up to 30-40 lbs and handle active, fast-paced toddler environments.
