Calling All Creative Explorers!

Are you a master of finger painting, a rocket-ship builder, and a multitasking pro? We’re looking for a Secondary Lead Teacher to be our resident expert in Arts, STEM, and everything in between!

In this role, you’ll wear many hats: one minute you’re leading a classroom of mini-scientists, and the next, you’re helping our school shine behind the scenes with some administrative magic. You’ll be the bridge between our school and our amazing families, so a "people person" vibe is a must.

What you bring to the Caves:

  • A Creative Spark: You make learning feel like a party.
  • A Lifelong Learner Spirit: You’re pumped for workshops and mentoring (we love to grow together!).
  • Safety First: You’re committed to staying CPR-certified and professional.
  • The "Secret Sauce": A great sense of humor and a genuine heart for kids.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement curriculum across multiple subjects including Arts and STEM
  • Manage classroom dynamics and student behavior effectively
  • Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching methods accordingly
  • Plan engaging and creative lessons that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Maintain consistent and positive communication with parents and community members
  • Foster a supportive and energizing classroom environment
  • Lead and support a small team of teachers through collaboration and mentoring
  • Participate actively in administrative duties and professional development opportunities
  • Ensure CPR certification and promote safety in the learning environment

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working with children
  • High school diploma
  • Willingness to obtain Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
