Okhovat Law Firm, a Sherman Oaks based boutique plaintiff's personal injury law firm, is looking to add a litigation paralegal to our team. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal or paraprofessional to join our dynamic legal team. 
General Duties: 
 

• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials by organizing case files, drafting pleadings, and summarizing depositions.
   
• Interview clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases.
   
• Manage legal documents and ensure compliance with court procedures and deadlines.
   
• Provide executive administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing attorney calendars.
   
• Maintain accurate records of case management using our internal systems.
   
• Collaborate with clients, experts, and other professionals involved in personal injury cases.
   
• Support project management efforts related to case preparation and trial readiness.
   

Job Responsibilities:
The job will require the applicant to handle all aspects of litigation support, including but not limited to:
 

• Maintaining regular communication with clients to provide updates and obtain necessary information or documents as needed;
   
• Maintaining case calendars and ensuring all litigation deadlines are met;
   
• Drafting pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and motions;
   
• Filing documents with the court depending on each jurisdiction's procedures;
   
• Scheduling depositions, court reporters, and interpreters;
   
• Assisting attorneys with trial preparation including exhibits, trial binders, jury instructions, and witness lists;
   
• Tracking medical treatment and outstanding medical liens, and communicating with lienholders if necessary;
   
• And all other aspects of a personal injury litigation practice under the guidance of our attorneys.
