• Coaching License (Grassroots 4v4, 7v7, 9v9)

• Job Responsibilities:

• Coaching players ages 3 - 10 years old

• Motivate and encourage children to overcome challenges, skill issues, and to understand the game.

• High energy, problem solver, and likes to work with children.

• Communicate with parents and staff about practice sessions and improvements

• Develop and plan practice sessions for the day in advance.

• Maintain goals and possible achievements for team and parents.

• Attend staff Meetings

• Attend Weekend Games Saturdays or Sundays

• Schedule would be Monday, Wednesdays, Fridays, and sometimes Saturdays & Sundays.

• Each day would be from 5:15PM till 6:15PM, or 6:15 till 7:15PM days can go up until 8:15PM depending on requirements.

• Potentially 1-3 hours per day, depending on how many teams you are required to Coach.

As as Soccer Coach at SFK we pride ourselves in developing children's soccer skills, understanding and implementing fundamentals, and creating a fun and safe environment for children to learn. We are looking for an experienced coach thats understands player development, structured coaching exercises, who priorities long term improvement rather than winning. As a Coach you’re responsible in creating and planning your practices before hand. You must be able to have kids engaged, consistently moving, and learning with and without a soccer ball. You‘re responsible for your children that are on your team, they must be able to understand your instructions clearly and implement your instructions in practice. Your main focus and goal, is for kids to have fun but at the same time learn the fundamentals and skills of Soccer. You must be able to communicate with parents with any concerns that are happing in the Soccer practice, as well as their progress and development. You should have a good positive energy that can always have kids in a lively and learning attitude. There is room to grow in age groups for Coaching as well as pay. SFK has been around since 2003 and we pride ourselves in creating a family atmosphere, and you will always feel heard and seen here. Your accomplishments will never go unnoticed. Pay will be discussed once interviewed and can vary depending on experience.
