Position Summary

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Shop Attendant to join our team. This role is responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience by assisting customers, maintaining the shop’s appearance, supporting plant and merchandise care, and helping daily and event operations run smoothly.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is organized, has an appreciation for plants and nature, and thrives in a positive, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service
• Assist customers with plant, gift shop, and product selections
• Operate the point-of-sale system and handle transactions accurately
• Restock shelves, displays, and plant inventory as needed
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the retail space
• Water and care for indoor/outdoor plants as directed
• Assist with merchandising and creating visually appealing displays
• Answer customer questions through email, phone, and in person about products, events, and experiences at The Bamboo Grove
• Support event days, workshops, yoga mornings, and community gatherings when needed
• Help open and close the shop following daily procedures

Qualifications

• Previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional attitude
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Weekend availability required
