North Star Lake Resort is hiring Seasonal Cooks / Line Cooks to join our kitchen team for the busy summer season.

We’re looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and work as part of a team to deliver quality food and great guest experiences.

Position Overview

As a cook at North Star Lake Resort, you will be responsible for preparing menu items, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and helping ensure smooth kitchen operations during our busiest time of year.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
• Assist with food prep, stocking, and kitchen setup
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Work efficiently during high-volume service times
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
• Help ensure timely and accurate food orders

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Team-oriented mindset
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift kitchen supplies as needed
• Weekend and holiday availability required

Position Details

• Seasonal position (Summer 2026)
• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Pay: $18–$22 per hour (based on experience)
• Fast-paced, team-oriented work environment
