ROLE: SUMMER INTERN 2026 (June 1 to July 30)

LOCATION: WESTPORT, CT

OVERVIEW: RFE Investment Partners is a long-standing middle market private equity firm focused on partnering with management teams to build and grow businesses. We are seeking MBA students and recent graduates for a Summer 2026 internship that combines hands-on PE deal experience with a firm-wide AI initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support live deal sourcing, screening, and due diligence efforts
• Review CIMs and conduct company, market, and industry thesis research
• Build and maintain financial models including LBO analysis and valuation
• Prepare materials for Investment Committee review
• Gain exposure to portco monitoring including KPI tracking and financial review
• Support deployment of AI tools across select firm workflows
• Present final findings to the RFE team covering deal exposure, industry thesis, and key learnings

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled in an MBA program or recent graduate
• Prior experience in investment banking strongly preferred
• Strong financial modeling skills including LBO and DCF analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail
• Intellectual curiosity, self-starter mentality, and ability to contribute immediately
