Timberroot Rustic Retreats is a rapidly growing company that operates nature forward destination stays in three states. We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our housekeeping team as a seasonal employee at our newest location, Escalante Canyon Inn, in beautiful Escalante, Utah.

Escalante is a premier adventure destination, serving as the gateway to the remote, rugged landscape of the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. It is renowned for its world-class, narrow slot canyons (such as Peek-a-Boo and Spooky), dramatic sandstone scenery, and hiking, including the scenic 126-foot Lower Calf Creek Falls. Escalante is home to 800 souls and sits near the base of Boulder Mountain half way between Bryce Canyon National Park and Capital Reef National Park.

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for working across a team to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of our rooms and ensuring a comfortable and welcoming experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

· Support the overall team by ensuring that the campus is clean, safe and properly representing Timberroot standards in delivering an amazing guest experience.

· Clean and prepare rooms for guest arrivals, including changing linens and towels, restocking toiletries, and ensuring all surfaces are dust-free and spotless.

· Complete routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.

· Conduct regular checks to ensure all equipment and amenities are functioning properly and report any issues to the maintenance team.

· Assist with laundry and inventory management, including washing and folding linens and restocking cleaning supplies.

· Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment and follow all health and safety procedures.

· Support cleaning manager with various ad-hoc tasks related to the administration or execution of departmental goals.

Requirements:

· Commitment to teamwork and customer service

· Ability to receive and implement constructive feedback and remain flexible in a dynamic environment.

· Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.

· Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

· Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

· Ability to work flexible hours, including Sundays.

· Availability to work between 10am and 4pm for turnover cleanings.

· Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
