Role Overview

We are seeking multiple Lead Teachers to join our educational team. At our centers, we view our educators as the architects of our students' futures and the next generation of our organization’s leaders. This role involves supervising young children, implementing educational activities aligned with early childhood development principles, and fostering a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Leadership: Develop, execute, and adapt engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that align with state standards and developmental goals.
  • Educational Excellence: Educate and inspire children through a variety of activities, including physical education and interactive learning experiences.
  • Environmental Management: Create and maintain a safe, disciplined, and positive classroom atmosphere for students and families.
  • Professional Partnership: Maintain high standards of communication with parents, staff, and the administrative team to ensure student and center success.
  • Compliance & Quality: Ensure 100% adherence to all State policies and procedures; participate in "Step-Up To Quality" rating requirements and ongoing professional development.
     

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field is highly preferred. (Minimum requirement: High School Diploma/GED with a CDA or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Proven experience in a classroom or daycare environment with a strong understanding of behavior management techniques.
  • Competencies: Exceptional communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a "solutions-oriented" mindset.
  • Certifications: CPR/First Aid and/or child development certifications are a plus.
  • Commitment: A passion for early childhood education and a willingness to meet all state-mandated training and certification milestones.
