About the Opportunity 

The Monmouth Film Festival, presented by the Monmouth Film Institute at the iconic Bell Works in Holmdel, New Jersey, is seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Design / Creative Intern to assist with visual content and branded materials for the 2026 festival. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event branding, digital design, promotional graphics, and creative production while contributing to one of the region’s most exciting film and entertainment events. The festival features film premieres, industry panels, special guest appearances, filmmaker networking events, and the Reel Tech Digital Film Expo, all taking place within the innovative Bell Works campus.

What You’ll Do 

As a Graphic Design / Creative Intern…

  • You will assist with a variety of visual and creative projects, including: 
  • Supporting the creation of festival-branded digital and promotional materials 
  • Assisting with social media graphics, event visuals, and digital marketing assets 
  • Helping design materials for festival programming, panels, screenings, special events, and announcements 
  • Assisting with signage, digital displays, sponsor recognition materials, and print-ready assets 
  • Supporting visual content for the Monmouth Film Festival, Monmouth Film Institute, and related initiatives 
  • Helping maintain a polished and consistent festival brand identity 
  • Assisting with creative updates and revisions as festival needs evolve 
  • Supporting select visual needs leading up to and during festival weekend

What We’re Looking For 

We’re looking for someone who is: 

  • Creative, detail-oriented, and visually driven 
  • Interested in graphic design, branding, entertainment, marketing, or event production 
  • Comfortable working within an established visual style while bringing fresh ideas 
  • Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple projects 
  • Excited to contribute to a fast-paced and creative festival environment Bonus if you have experience with: 
  • Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools • Social media design and digital content creation 
  • Branding, layout, typography, or event-related design 
  • Print design or preparing files for production

  • Flexible part-time hours leading up to the festival 
  • Some availability for festival week and weekend (May 29–31, 2026) is strongly preferred 
  • Combination of remote design work and on-site support at Bell Works as needed
