Job Description

• Providing 1 hour massages to patients. LMT should be able to identify the correct type of massage required, which typically depends on the client’s needs and physical condition.
• Using various massage techniques to manipulate muscles and soft tissue to treat chronic pain and injuries while maintaining a safe and relaxing experience
• Listening and explaining various aspects of medical massage to patients. Providing clients with guidance on stretching, strengthening, overall relaxation, and how to improve their posture
• Collaborating with Chiropractors on shared clients
• Document clients’ conditions and progress. Charting all client's progress using SOAP notes.

Qualifications

• LMT will be a dedicated and responsible professional that can work in a collaborative manner with other disciplines.
• Skilled in relaxation and treatment techniques. Proficient in SOAP charting.
• Desire to work with a culturally diverse group of professionals and clients
• Commitment to providing the highest quality of care while maintaining client confidentiality (HIPAA).
• LMT must hold a valid Washington State license and current malpractice insurance.
• LMT should be good at perceiving client wishes and needs through spoken language, body language, and other cues and modifying their treatments accordingly.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
