We are a well-established property management firm with over 40 years of experience managing a diverse portfolio of mixed-use, hospitality, multifamily residential, and commercial properties.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team in Arcadia, CA. This role offers hands-on exposure to full-cycle property accounting and direct collaboration with executive leadership.

What You’ll Do as Staff Accountant
- Manage general ledger and record daily financial transactions
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Process accounts payable and receipts
- Prepare and monitor property/HOA budgets
- Generate and apply monthly HOA and tenant billings
- Handle CAM and Property Tax reconciliations
- Process security deposit refunds and tenant invoices
- Process reserve replacement requests and construction bank draws for applicable properties
- Assist Controller and Accounting Manager with special projects
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting controls and procedures
What We’re Looking For Staff Accountant
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
- 1+ year of property management accounting experience (preferred)
- Strong understanding of financial statements and budgeting
- Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
Software Experience (Preferred but not required):
- Yardi Genesis
- AppFolio
- Great Plains
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with HOA accounting
- CAM reconciliation experience
- Mandarin (Chinese) language skills
