Ryan Incorporated Central is expanding and hiring a Project Engineer to join its team. Whether you are starting out or looking to take the next step in your construction leadership career, this is a great opportunity to learn, grow, and make an impact.
This position requires regular travel, and the ideal candidate will reside in Northern Indiana (or Chicagoland area) due to project locations. As a Project Engineer, you will support project operations by assisting with documentation, coordination, and project tracking while working closely with Project Superintendents and Contract Administrators.

Responsibilities:
• Support project setup and documentation by maintaining logs, plan sets, and other project records
• Attend weekly job site meetings, record meeting minutes, and assist with communication between project team members
• Assist Project Superintendents and Contract Administrators with project coordination, documentation, and subcontractor communication
• Track material deliveries, quantities, and project costs while assisting with cost code tracking and time entry
• Support project administration tasks including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontractor onboarding documentation
• Assist with quantity take-offs, BIM/as-built tracking, GPS file updates, and other project tracking activities
Requirements:
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a similar field
• Internship or administrative experience within construction is helpful
• Strong work ethic and willingness to grow
• Willing and able to travel
