Our Mission

At Family Service Aides (FSA) we believe that strong families build strong communities. Our mission is “Helping Families Reunite.”  FSAs’ vision is to “Strengthen Arizona families through connection, reduce barriers to services and be the leading company for workforce culture.” FSA exists to ensure families have the opportunity to thrive in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Our Family Connections program bridges the gap between families and the resources they need, fostering resilience and healthy development for all children. We empower parents and caregivers with the tools, resources, and confidence they need to nurture healthy and thriving children. Every day, we partner with families to strengthen bonds, overcome challenges, and create brighter futures, one connection at a time.

The Impact You'll Make

As a Family Connections Consultant (FCC), you’ll be the   Coach for families navigating the joys and challenges of parenting. Through home visits, coaching, and resource coordination, you’ll establish a professional rapport and help parents build skills, access community services, and create safe, supportive environments for their children. Your work will directly influence a child’s early development and a family’s long-term well-being. In this role, you’ll be more than a consultant, you’ll be a partner in a family’s journey. You’ll help parents understand developmental milestones, strengthen parenting skills, and connect with community support. Your guidance will help children enter school ready to learn and thrive.

What You'll Do

  • Assess family needs and strengths, creating individual support plans and achieving personal and parenting goals.
  • Connect families to community resources such as childcare, health services, and educational programs.
  • Strengthen parents’ ability to keep their children safe, healthy, and well cared for while preventing child abuse and neglect.
  • Reduce the likelihood of entry into out-of-home care for children receiving in-home services as well as the likelihood of re-entry into out-of-home care after reunification.
  • Use evidence-based tools to assess child development and family well-being.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and community outreach events.
  • Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in compliance with program requirements.
  • Collaborate with social workers, educators, and healthcare providers to ensure holistic family support.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, Family Studies, Psychology, or related field with 1 year’s relevant experience.
  • Experience working directly with families in home-visiting or community-based programs.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and maintain organized, timely records.
  • Knowledge of child development, family dynamics, early intervention, and community resources.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly.
  • Comfort working independently in the field and adapting to diverse family needs.

Position Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe reliable transportation, with proof of current insurance and minimum liability coverage of 100,000/300,000.
