Job Summary
We are seeking 2 passionate and dedicated Lead Infant/Toddler Teachers to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will serve as a guiding leader in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for our youngest learners. Your expertise will foster developmental growth, support individualized care plans, and inspire a love for learning from the very first moments of life. As a Lead Teacher, you will coordinate classroom activities, mentor assistant staff, and ensure that all children receive high-quality care aligned with best practices in early childhood education.

Responsibilities

  • Leading a classroom serving infants 6–18 months
  • Develop and implement engaging daily lesson plans tailored to infants and toddlers that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
  • Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where children feel safe and supported to explore and learn.
  • Modeling Christian values in a faith-centered environment
  • Monitor and document each child's developmental progress, adjusting activities to meet individual needs.
  • Experience documenting infant development and daily reports
  • Foster positive behavior management strategies that encourage cooperation, independence, and social skills.
  • Collaborate with families to share insights on their child's growth and address any concerns or special needs.
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and caregivers, providing guidance on classroom management and caregiving techniques.
  • Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing standards, company policies, and best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications

  • 12+ ECE units (Infant/Toddler units required)
  • Proven experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare or preschool setting.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate activities for early learners.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus.
  • Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior through effective strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and community partners.
  • Prior experience in preschool or daycare environments with classroom experience managing young children’s routines.
  • Ability to work actively on your feet for extended periods while engaging children in meaningful activities. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
