About Our Program
At TNT Kidz Center, we believe early learning should nurture every aspect of a child’s development. Our program combines play-based learning, outdoor exploration, and hands-on activities to help children build early academic foundations while developing confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Position Overview
We are looking for a Summer Camp Leader who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences and building positive relationships with children and families. The Summer Camp Season runs from June 8th through August 7th

Responsibilities

• Create and lead fun, age-appropriate learning activities
• Foster a classroom culture that encourages kindness, curiosity, and independence
• Incorporate outdoor exploration and learning throughout the day
• Guide hands-on projects that support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
• Adapt activities to meet the individual needs of each child
• Maintain regular communication with parents about their child’s development and milestones
• Keep the classroom clean, organized, and safe for all students
• Demonstrate professionalism and positive communication with children, families, and staff
• Have safe transportation of kids to and away from our childcare center

Qualifications

• Knowledge of early childhood development and play-based education
• Comfortable participating in outdoor, sensory, and nature-inspired activities
• Strong classroom management and teamwork skills
• Professional communication with families and coworkers

Education Requirements
Applicants must be actively enrolled in each of the semester units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, including:

• Child Growth and Development
• Child, Family, and Community
• Program and Curriculum
• One additional ECE course (Infant/Toddler Development required for infant classrooms)

OR must have completed 240 work hours in a professional childcare setting,

OR must have any combination of ECE units and work hours equivalent to the required 12 units. Each unit = 20 work hours.

Pay Range

Fully qualified teachers who have obtained & completed all of the required ECE courses are eligible to receive between $19.00-20.50 hourly.
