Charleston Diocese is seeking dedicated Teachers for the upcoming school year through out the state of SC, with anticipated openings in all grades. Teachers with the diocese are part of a close and supportive community that values faith, strong academics, and meaningful relationships with students and families.

Position reports to:  Principal

Fulltime 

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with curriculum standards

• Create a structured, positive classroom environment that supports student learning and growth

• Integrate Catholic values into the daily life of the classroom

• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and families

• Monitor and assess student progress and provide appropriate support

• Collaborate with faculty and administration to support student success and the mission of the school

• Participate in school events and activities that strengthen the life of the school community

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary/ secondary  Education or a related field

• Valid teaching certification or ability to obtain certification

• Experience in elementary education preferred

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education

• Practicing Catholic preferred
