Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Part-Time Music Instructor to lead engaging group classes that inspire a love for music among learners. This role offers an exciting opportunity to foster creativity, develop musical skills, and create a lively, supportive classroom environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on energizing others through music and possesses a versatile background in teaching various disciplines.

Duties

• Creates a lively, engaging, and positive classroom atmosphere
• Highly creative; comfortable leading rhythm, movement, and music games
• Skilled at calming emotions and encouraging shy children
• Able to follow our provided curriculum (training will be provided)
• Able to guide older children through more structured learning
• Strong in rhythm training, basic music theory, and sight-singing
• Maintains an engaging classroom while increasing academic rigor
• Excellent communication skills and classroom management ability

General Qualifications

• Background in music, music education, or a related field
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Prior experience teaching children preferred
• Curriculum framework and training will be provided by the organization
• Optional - familiar with Orff Schulwerk (Orff Approach).
