GBPR is a luxury boutique public relations agency based in Los Angeles, specializing in representing fashion brands from around the world. We are dedicated to elevating our clients' presence through strategic media relations, influencer partnerships, and high-profile events.
Job Description:
We are seeking motivated, self-driven interns who are eager to learn and contribute to our team starting asap. This internship offers the opportunity to gain real-world experience in the fashion PR industry while working alongside top professionals.
Interns should be available to work in house 3-4 days a week (your choice) from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. We are also looking for someone who may have the potential to become a permanent member of our team in the future.
Our internship will offer insight and opportunities across five key areas: Celebrity, Influencer, Media, Showroom, and Business Development.
Showroom Responsibilities:
- Support stylists in the showroom during pulls, maintaining efficiency and ensuring smooth operations.
- Manage showroom organization and aesthetics.
- Collect and organize images to pitch to stylists for upcoming events.
- Perform inventory checks to make sure all pieces are in place
Celebrity Responsibilities:
- Assist in securing product placements on celebrities and supporting the gifting team with processing requests.
- Contribute to brand visibility strategies within the celebrity space.
- Create target lists for clients and subsequently pitch talents for gifting/stylist loand
- Stay informed about current A-list celebrities, artists, and actors to effectively identify strategic placement opportunities.
InfluencerResponsibilities:
- Securing and processing gifting requests for influencers to secure placements
- Develop strategies to expand brand visibility within the influencer landscape.
- Stay up to date with popular content creators across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms.
Media Responsibilities:
- Conduct outreach to editors for style stories, round ups, etc..
- Monitor press coverage in print and online publications.
- Continuos research of new editors on key magazines
Business Development Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential brand clients for representation.
- Assist in crafting pitch materials for future clients.
The qualities we are looking for in our ideal candidate include but are not limited to:
- Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes initiative.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Research-savvy and resourceful in gathering industry information.
- Prior PR experience is a plus but not required.
- Comfortable working around dogs (we have one in the studio).
- Familiarity with social media platforms, Office Suite, Photoshop, and blogging.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Creative problem-solver who can handle constructive feedback.
- Reliable, punctual, and passionate about fashion and PR.
- Fashion industry experience or current fashion student preferred.
- Owning a vehicle for stylist/celebrity pickups and drop-offs is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must have a personal laptop for use during the internship.
- Must be very good with dogs (we have one little dog in the showroom)
