FACILITIES (CUSTODIAL) POSITION (Part-time 25-29 hours) 

Reports to: Facilities Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Working Hours: Part-time hourly position that is not eligible for benefits.

Anticipated schedule: Some weekdays, generally Thursday and Friday, 4-9:30 p.m. and both Saturday and Sunday shifts from 1-9:30 p.m. Also, during certain times of the year, additional hours may be required to meet the job's demands. All church staff will be asked to support and serve on religious holidays and worship services, including Christmas Eve and Easter.

Key Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Must be Christ-centered;
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.;
• Maintaining facility on weekends;
• Setting up and tearing down tables, chairs, and staging;
• Using floor cleaning machine;
• Cleaning multiple areas of the campus including classrooms, bathrooms and Sanctuary; and
• Willingness to serve the church congregation.

General Qualifications:

• Oral and written communication skills and ability to interact with the congregation; 
• Custodial experience is a plus;
• Able to maintain a safe and clean environment;
• Have reliable transportation; and
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
