Overview
The Sales & Marketing Representative is a dynamic, results-driven professional responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing customers in the construction, logistics, and industrial sectors across Skagit, Snohomish, King and Pierce Counties. This role combines strategic business development with tactical marketing execution to position Diesel and DEF DnD LLC (------------/) as the premier mobile diesel delivery service in the Puget Sound region.

Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Identify and qualify 50 new prospects weekly through:
  • Cold calling (30-40 calls/day)
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator outreach
  • Industry database mining (Dodge Data & Analytics, AGC directories)
  • Trade show and event networking
  • Referral program management

Sales Pipeline Management:

  • Maintain minimum pipeline of $500,000 in qualified opportunities
  • Document all activities in our CRM
  • Achieve monthly quota of 8-10 qualified appointments
  • Convert 3-5 new clients monthly
  • Average deal size: $3,000-$10,000/month

Sales Process Execution:

  • Conduct initial discovery calls to assess needs
  • Schedule and lead in-person site assessments
  • Prepare and present customized proposals
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing
  • Manage contract signing and onboarding handoff
  • Achieve 30%+ close rate from qualified opportunities

Target Market Focus:

  • Primary: Construction companies
  • Secondary: Trucking/logistics fleets
  • Tertiary: Industrial, mining, agriculture operations
  • Geographic: Pierce County, King County, Snohomish County and Skagit county

Experience

  • Deep understanding of the fuel delivery business and the customer base
  • Proven experience in outside sales or B2B sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to handle multiple accounts and prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, lead generation, and territory management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build lasting client partnerships.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and technology sales is highly desirable.
  • Ability to analyze sales data for insights that inform strategy adjustments.
