Thrive Support & Advocacy is looking to hire a Full Time LPN for one of our large group homes in Marlborough. The right candidate will be conscientious, energetic and outgoing.
The hours are 9am-5pm Tuesday through Saturday, but can be flexible with the right candidate.
The LPN is responsible for the daily medical and medication administration oversight, with the goal of maintaining and enhancing the quality of life for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Under the supervision of the Program Director, the LPN is responsible for the day to day oversight of medical responsibilities, working closely with the Program Director and Supervisors at the location site. The LPN will be trained on medication administration policies under the regulations of DDS and DPH. The LPN represents assigned program at administrative meetings and participates in the evaluation of program services; coordinates clinical supports; entitlements; community resources and acts as a liaison for individuals as needed.
The LPN also provides direct support care as required to maintain appropriate staffing ratios. MAP certification training will be provided. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and the elderly a plus.
