We have opened our application process for our Summer 2026 internship program. Those accepted will hone their writing, research, and data collection skills, all while playing an integral part in providing the community with detailed information on the city’s crime and legal process.
Full and part-time onsite internship positions are open to students and recent graduates who are interested in pursuing careers in journalism, sociology, public health, data analysis, or the legal fields.
This Baltimore Witness internship provides a per diem stipend that is paid after completion. Reimbursements are also available for approved parking/public transportation expenses. If acceptable with your school, college credit may be available.
An ideal schedule is a commitment of at least two in-person days a week. We are flexible and will work with interns to create the perfect schedule.
