Overview
Tanglewood Assisted Living Facility has been a trusted and respected part of the Fenton community for over 30 years. Our home has built a strong reputation for providing compassionate, high-quality care in a warm and welcoming environment.

Unlike large institutional facilities, Tanglewood is a boutique assisted living home with only 12 residents. This allows us to provide a very high level of personalized care and attention to each resident.

Our beautiful residence sits on a peaceful 20-acre property surrounded by nature, horses, and animals, creating a calm and unique environment for both residents and staff. Our team takes great pride in providing exceptional care while maintaining a family-like atmosphere.

Position Overview

We are currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys helping others, is reliable, and wants to be part of a supportive and caring team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to ensure comfort and dignity.
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with cooking while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support, especially for residents with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or other memory-related conditions.

Experience

  • Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, home health care, or group homes is highly desirable But not required.
  • Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or dementia-related conditions such as Alzheimer’s or memory care needs.
  • Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected.
  • Experience with hospice care or working within a home & community care setting will be considered an asset.
