As the Teen Volunteer Coach your job will be to run the teen training on Sunday, July 26 up at the camp. This will provide the teens with some guidance and set clear expectations for their roles while at camp.

During the week you will shadow the teens as they work with campers and take that time to let the teens know what they are doing well and what they might try doing differently.

The biggest challenge for a teen is the transition from camper to teen volunteer counselor. Your role will support this transition by helping teen volunteers recognize the difference between being a camper and a volunteer. Guiding them as they embrace their purpose as a leader and a mentor.

You will also be the checkpoint for the teens so they always have a leader to check in with and to help them know where to be and what to be doing.
